Happy New Year, blessing of health and prosperity to you and your family!!
BABY UPDATE:
We are anxiously awaiting the new addition to our family, we don't know if it is a boy or girl so your welcome to guess :)
Baby is probably arriving tonight or tomorrow as Brooke has been having contractions since last night and they are progressively getting stronger as I type this email!
Not sure if I'll be baking for this Friday, however, I will keep you posted with another email that I'll send out by Thursday as I may bake a small batch.
BAKERY NEWS:
I've been reading and researching about whole grain breads from Europe's best bakers and have teamed up with a local farmer to grow wheat. I'll probably get a chance to hand harvest the crop like in the old days, can't wait for you to try all the new yumminess in store!!!
And if you have any ideas, comments, suggestions, please reply to this email. Some ideas so far have been to offer monthly subscriptions so customers don't have to remember to order, especially when it's a limited specialty bread and I run out. Another idea was to offer par-baked breads that are frozen and shipped out of state as I've got customers who have moved or want to gift them to friends and family.
