We are incredibly grateful for the kind words and recognition from Fast Food Club, who recently featured the Buckhorn Tavern as one of the small-town restaurants worth making a special trip for.

To be mentioned alongside so many great restaurants, and recognized for our green chile cheeseburger, is truly an honor.

Morgen is raising money for summer camp and is serving up fresh lemonade with plenty of smiles. She has been working hard, learning about business, customer service, and the value of earning money toward something she is excited about at the Randall Davey Audubon Center & Sanctuary!

We’re Hiring at the Buckhorn Tavern

We’re not your average restaurant. The Buckhorn Tavern is an extremely fast-paced scratch kitchen with high expectations. If you’re looking for a challenge where every shift counts and quality comes first, this is the place for you.

What We Offer:

Starting line cook pay range is $16.50/hour to $20/hour

PTO, up to 64 hours per year

Paid holidays + extra perks throughout the year

Employee Discounts: on drinks, meals, and Buckhorn merch

Reimburse for Food Handler and Alcohol Server permits

Well… this is a new one. 🐐

We had a surprise visitor wander through the Buckhorn yard today—no reservation, no call ahead, just showed up like they owned the place.

If anyone in town is missing a very confident goat, they are currently enjoying the scenery (and possibly judging our landscaping choices).

San Antonio never gets boring, and honestly… we kind of love it.
