Today we received a truly special gift from one of our customers.
Michael and Therisa shared with us the story of Col. Geoffrey J. Buckley (Ret.), who completed three tours in the Republic of Korea and served as commander of the UNC-JSA in the DMZ from 1988–1990.
During that time, his wife Renate Buckley, who lived in Seoul, created this beautiful stained-glass piece of the Korean flag, which hung in his quarters at Camp Bonifas.

After Col. Buckley’s passing earlier this year, and as Renate moved into a smaller home, their family chose to entrust this meaningful piece of history to us.
We are deeply honored by this gesture.

At Koreana, our customers are family — and we will always go above and beyond to make you feel at home.
