Many years before becoming a restaurant, it was originally a gas station that eventually converted into a tire shop. The owners wanted to do something that would bring the west side community great tasting traditional Tex-Mex food. Tacos El Rey is a family owned business and has been managed by three different generations. The restaurant was originally created by Humberto Aredondo, his wife Enriqu

eta and Son Humberto Arredondo Jr. Although Humberto and Enriqueta have passed on, the restaurant continued to run successfully. and family still operate and manage the restaurant. We enjoy pleasing our customers and are grateful for our success.

We will be closing at 3pm tonight as CPS will be working on the poles and we will lose power for an extended period this afternoon. Reopen tomorrow at 6am. Go Spurs Go!
