The whole process has been SO exciting, emotional, and honestly… a lot of hard work.

Every little detail has been chosen with so much heart and love, from the colors and furniture to the smallest touches that make this space feel like us. We’re also putting so much thought into honoring the history of this beautiful building and bringing some of its former character and charm back to life. Literally every piece we choose we think it through and we ask Marcy Rossi what she thinks about it 🤣

There are definitely moments of stress, but seeing everything slowly come together makes every bit of it worth it. We’re not just opening a coffee shop; we’re creating a space with a story, preserving pieces of the past while giving it a new chapter.

We can’t wait to share this journey with you and soon, welcome you through our doors. 🤎

☕ Folklores is out — but this Beacon Hill coffee spot won’t be empty for long.

San Antonio coffee trailer Café La Lele is taking over Folklores’ former home at 106 Michigan Avenue and turning it into its first permanent storefront.

No opening date yet, but the owners say they’re renovating the space while trying to preserve the building’s character.

A local coffee shop leaves. Another local business gets its first brick-and-mortar chapter. ❤️

We are SO excited to finally share that Café La Lele is coming soon to the Beacon Hill area!

Some of you may recognize this space as the former home of the Folklores Coffee House and we’re so honored to have the opportunity to bring new life to this beautiful, historic building.

We’re working closely with local artist Marcy Rossi to thoughtfully transition the space while honoring its history and bringing the building back to its former glory with a little Café La Lele magic, of course.

Our goal is not just to open another coffee shop, but to become part of the neighborhood, celebrate the character of this historic space, and create somewhere that feels warm, welcoming, and truly special.

A new chapter is coming to Beacon Hill.
And we can’t wait to share it with you.
