The Original Mexican Restaurant Historic River Walk Tex-Mex restaurant serving fajitas, tacos, enchiladas, and margaritas. We serve great fajitas, enchiladas, margaritas, and coladas.

Opened in 1988, The Original Mexican Restaurant is the third oldest Mexican restaurant on the River Walk. It's name is an homage to the first Mexican restaurant in America, of the same name, which used to be located across from our present location on Losoya Street. So come in to eat some delicious Mexican food and have fun drinking our giant margaritas.
