last week, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of Stop Food Waste Day by spreading awareness on how we can all take part in reducing food waste, one plate at a time. students put their knowledge to the test with food waste trivia for a chance to win prizes, and committed to making change on campus by signing our pledge board.

This past weekend at Mission County park our Sr. Executive Chef, Albert Trujillo, represented Trinity Dining and the Trinity University community by competing in the 16th annual Paella Challenge. Albert and his team competed alongside 40 other chefs and while they didn’t place, they handed out over 400 samples and had guests returning for seconds and taking some to-go! Our team was up against some of the best chefs in the San Antonio area and appreciate all the support they received. When you see our chefs, be sure to give them a high five for their great work this weekend, and stay tuned for next year!
