Our Chismosa’s family lost a dear friend and huge supporter, Yvette Cantu. She was the close relative to our very own Lyric Lopez. Lyric opened the doors with us as a server. Yvette came into see Lyric and then became a regular. She was a shining light everytime she came in. She loved our Sandia Fresca, especially when Savaughn made it. She leaves behind 2 beautiful daughters and one handsome grandson. Tonight I want to say a prayer for her soul and for the strength of her family, most especially Lyrics Mom, Debra Cantu who is like a sister to me. I've included information for the services.

Yvette, thank you for all of the support and positive energy you blessed us with. You are missed & we will never forget you.

Late Post but Happy New Year from the Chismosa's Family. I am recovering from surgery and an illness so prayers are appreciated. We hope everyone had a wonderful and peaceful holiday season. We look forward to connecting with friends and family at the old Chismosa’s location which is now Havana. We just love the new owners. Sending positive thoughts, hugs and love to all ❤️

Last year I was admitted October 13th with a critical myxedema crisis so I spent my birthday hospitalized. This year I am happy to be alive & healthy. I didn't reserve a table/ private room or make plans because I planned to be on a trip. Coco & Cruzes father wouldn't take them to their school carnival for 3 hours and Savaughn is working in San Diego sooo NO TRIP for me. But that's ok... I'm gonna have dinner & enjoy my 44th birthday

I make the best out of every situation. The trip is just delayed but there's so much fun & togetherness to be had with my people ❤️

I took my 7 and 10 year old to their school event lastnt and today I'll be surrounded by people we ❤️
