Bonjour Y’all!

“In February of 2019 we moved to Saluda to support family and opened in May of that year”.

Those are the facts and that’s what we said thousands of times when asked why our three times James Beard Nominated restaurant had chosen sleepy, small town, Saluda NC as it’s home. Afterall haute French cuisine from a former Michelin star chef is not what one typically brings to mind when considering local dining in the rural mountains of NC.

“A hidden gem” is what we heard and read thousands of times from our guests offering their thoughts and reviews of our culinary and fine dining service alongside “you should open a restaurant in (insert municipality here)”

Well friends, after 5 years, countless unique and elegant dishes, and many happy guests served in our quaint & quiet mountain town where we were able to develop our craft and technique, we have decided to call it quits, to stop being “hidden” and to relocate to a much larger market among other fine dining establishments and even Michelin Starred restaurants.

Mothers Day brunch (this Sunday 5/12) will be our last service in Saluda. We have enjoyed our time here and it has been our greatest pleasure to serve you all. We hope we have impacted the culinary in the area, brought something different and unexpected to town, and made a few fans and friends along the way.

We will announce our next location soon and perhaps you’ll venture to join us then. Though incredibly different from us, we also believe you will appreciate the new occupants of our space and hope that you give them a try this summer. Finally we thank you for your years of support and as always, we look forward to serving you again. Merci & au revoir pour le moment.⚜️⚜️⚜️
