Our hearts are absolutely broken over the passing of two of our dear regulars, Bob & Wendy Peck. They were such a special part of our Wakey Monkey & Saluda family, and their kindness, smiles, and presence will be deeply missed by so many.

We are praying for their family, their church family, and our entire Saluda community during this incredibly difficult time. We also continue to pray for justice.

Please keep everyone affected in your thoughts and prayers.

☕ Coffee with the City is back!

Join us Tuesday, June 2, from 8:30–9:30 am for a conversation with Lourdes Gutierrez, Downtown Director for the Town of Tryon and Executive Director of the Tryon Downtown Development Association.

Lourdes will share her experience with the NC Main Street program — a designation the City of Saluda is actively working toward — along with insights on downtown development, collaboration, and what we can learn from our neighboring communities.

It's a great chance to connect, ask questions, and hear what's ahead for downtown Saluda.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸

We are deeply grateful for their courage, service, and dedication. As we spend time with family and friends today, let us also take a moment to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy because of those who gave everything.
