Responsibilities:
1. Take Orders (In person, online, and phone) and relay them to the kitchen staff.
2. Wrap and bag the completed orders for customers come to pick up or for delivery.
3. Make to-go baggies (forks, napkins, etc.) and refill sauces when supply is low.
4. Be kind and courteous to the customers (even if it's their fault).
Hi we are Golden Pearl, a small family owned to go restaurant in Rose Park. We are looking for a dependable and honest person to work a few mid day weekday shifts and possibly some evenings. Ideally Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 3PM - 6PM for starters; for about 12-14 hours/week. We aren't really short on hours so your hours can be flexible after you the hang of things. We would also like you as a backup for our other front of house members if needed, or if you want more hours. And vice versa. We will start you out at $8.00 an hour and after your training is complete and you are able to do handle things solo, we will pay you $10.00 plus tips. Wages are paid on every 1st and 15th. Feel free to keep all the tips you get after splitting with the kitchen staff and a free meal per shift, you are walking away with food and tips on top of your wages.
It sometimes get hectic, but these specific hours are stable and a good spot to gain some experience. After you get the hang of things it is a pretty easy job. We are pretty low key here, so feel free to do your homework anything else like that so long as your other responsibilities are taken care of first.
Spanish speaker is a plus. Will need you to get a food handlers permit within 30 days of hire.
