Morty's Cafe is a fun, fast-paced new restaurant in a fast-developing area of SLC. We will serve the best burgers in SLC and have unique burger concepts you can't find anywhere else! Our team members work hard to make sure customers have the best experience possible. This means making top-notch food, helping customers feel welcome, and learning to be efficient and quick in your work while keeping high standards of quality and cleanliness. We are looking for someone to help us build an amazing company from the ground up in SLC. Plenty of room for growth! Closed Sundays!

Growth Opportunities!

Wages based on $10/hour training wage + in-store tip share. Usual In-store tip rate is $3-$4/hour. New hires are usually paid $10/hour based wage then increased based on performance.

Responsibilities may include: Working the register - Cooking on the grill, stove, or fry station - Dressing items to order - Packaging all menu items and checking for product quality and consistency - Preparing menu ingredients for service - Cleaning, including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes, wiping counter-tops, sanitizing food and dining areas, etc.

We have positions ranging from part-time team members, delivery drivers to prep cooks and assistant managers. Our company is expanding and there will be many growth opportunities!

This job description is a summary of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required. Other duties or responsibilities may be assigned by Morty’s Cafe managers.

As a Morty’s team member, you have the opportunity to work in various positions; from greeting customers at the register to making things happen in the kitchen. We value workers who interact with customers in a pleasant and upbeat fashion. Our team members are punctual, attentive to detail, friendly, willing to learn, reliable, and honest. Workers must maintain a neat and clean appearance and follow food safety standards. Employees consistently build and support a culture that is based on relationships and continuous improvement.
