But let me just brag on her for ONE second…

I genuinely do not know how she does it all😩

Mom. Friend. Boss. Chef. Menu Designer. Supply Stocker. Caterer. Delivery Driver. Tech Guru. Coffee Maker. Baker. Maintenance Crew. Event Planner. Social Media Manager. Photographer. And the go-to gal for just about EVERYTHING here at Gourmet Eats.

And I KNOW I’m missing a few😂

We have been SO blessed by the love this community has shown our small business, and while you see the food, the drinks, and the smiles out front, there are countless hours of hard work happening behind the scenes.

So much of what makes Gourmet Eats special comes from Taylor and the incredible team she has built❤️❤️

Taylor has the BIGGEST heart, and you can feel it the moment you walk through these doors!🥹

Running a small business isn't easy. Some days, you're wearing every hat imaginable, putting out fires, solving problems, and figuring it out as you go.

But even on the hard days, Taylor keeps showing up, rolling with the punches, and giving so much of herself to this place and the people in it.

So, here's what I really wanted to say…

💚🩺 A Little Sweetness for Our Nurses at Salina Regional Hospital! 🧁💚

A special thank you to the sweet soul from Salina Regional Hospital who reached out to us and brought Nurses Week to our attention! Honestly, I didn't even realize it was Nurses Week, and I have a feeling I'm not the only one. ❤️

That got me thinking about how often nurses go unrecognized for everything they do. We celebrate so many occasions throughout the year, but how many of us actually stop to recognize the people who spend their days caring for others? The ones working long hours, missing time with their own families, comforting patients through scary moments, and showing up day after day to care for our loved ones.

Nurses pour so much of themselves into other people, and sometimes the people who care for everyone else are the ones who go without recognition.

I'm so thankful I had the opportunity to make and deliver some cupcakes to the nurses at Salina Regional Hospital. 🧁 It may have been a small gesture, but I hope it brought a little sweetness to their day and reminded them that what they do matters.

And honestly, I wanted to share this because I think it's something worth bringing attention to. 💚

Did you know it's Nurses Week!? Because I didn't, and maybe some of you didn't either!

Our nurses deserve to be celebrated, appreciated, and recognized not just this week, but all year long. They do so much for our families, our friends, and our community, often without ever asking for anything in return.

From all of us at Gourmet Eats, thank you to all nurses for the compassion, dedication, patience, and heart you bring to your work every single day. We see you, we appreciate you, and we're so grateful for you! 💚🩺
