These turned out amazing ‼️ Alfajores have to be my new favorite cookie! Seriously, sooooo good! A little lemon flavor in the shortbread, mixed with dulce de leche & some powdered sugar? 🤤😋

These are amazing & definitely a recipe I will be keeping close to me ☺️

In school, I am in a Global Pastry Arts class. Week 1 was UK. Week 2 was North America & this week (Week 3) is South America!

These are called Brigadeiros & they are a chocolate dessert originated from Brazil! It’s super easy to make & you can roll them in anything! I chose toasted pecans, chocolate sprinkles, & sweet coconut! I have to say, their taste resembles a brownie, just not baked! 😋❤️ Today, I am making Alfajores so we will see how those turn out!!

BACK & BETTTER ‼️

I have officially returned from maternity leave & I am back in business!

This year is going to be the best yet, I can feel it 😊 I am more determined & more focused than EVER! Be on the look out for my OFFICIAL MENU for Somethin’ Sweet Bakery as some menu items have changed & some will be new! 🩷🧡 ALSO: be on the lookout for a giveaway I will be doing soon, since this is the 3rd year since Ive started this journey. There have been many bumps in the road but one things for sure!!!! This dream has never gone away! 🌈☁️

I will still be taking custom orders for weddings, parties, etc. I would also love to share some of my baking from my school so be on the lookout for those as well 🤞🏽 my main passion for baking is real home grounded baking, with simple but BEAUTIFUL designs. We have so many amazing cake decorators in town & I would love to showcase the other side of baking 😊
