Battenkill Valley Creamery is a growing dairy business founded by Donald and Seth McEachron (4th and 5th generation farmers, respectively). In February of 2008 Donald and Seth began processing and bottling milk on their family farm in Salem, NY. In February of 2009 they started making their truly homemade, super premium ice cream. Our promise to you is to provide our customers with the premium quality dairy products we know they deserve. We guarantee our dairy products to be fresh, local and all natural. We pledge to our customers that we do not and will not use pesticides, insecticides, or artificial growth hormones.

It’s time to get the silage packed in the bunker! 11 trucks haul 12 tons of silage to get 1200 tons of feed packed away for the cold winter months. The yellow machine is a vibratory roller to help pack everything down as much as possible.
