Thanks for your patience with the unexpected weekend closure and DoorDash having issues letting orders through all weekend🤦🏼‍♀️

We were looking for months for a senior corgi to rescue and finally got picked for one, so we drove to Idaho to bring her home 🫶🏼🐾

Today I am baking for the menu and a bigger order. I will get back to cinnamon roll applicants tonight when I get home and message everyone by tomorrow night 🫶🏼

Unexpectedly; have to skip town again this weekend….but for a good reason 💕💕. Will be back open Monday.

Cinnamon Roll applicants…i see you…I just haven’t had time to go through it today due to this unexpected weekend trip.

Thanks for your patience. Revamp and expansion incoming. Just been delay after delay 😅

Opportunity for gourmet cinnamon roll bakers 💕

I’m looking for someone who makes GOOD gourmet/specialty cinnamon rolls and would be interested in collaborating with Candyland Cheesecakes! 💕

Literal months I have been meaning to make cinnamon rolls for the menú and I just don’t get to it. I’d love to find the right person to bring a cinnamon roll line into the store.

I’m interested in someone who has their own recipes with fun/over-the-top flavors, that can match my themes and weekly flavors.

✨ The idea: a barter/collaboration arrangement where you produce the rolls and ingredients while I provide access to the commercial kitchen, equipment, utilities, storefront space, customer traffic, and promotion. ✨

This could potentially look like:
Kitchen use in exchange for a portion of the product
A percentage split on cinnamon roll sales
I’m open to ideas that are fair for both of us

This could be a really fun opportunity for someone who is already baking from home, wants access to a commercial kitchen, is testing a business idea, or wants to get their products into a physical storefront.

A few things I’m not budging on: cinnamon rolls will need to be $5 or less if sold in my store, no chance I’m charging upwards of $8 a roll. I know how much it costs and use of my kitchen removes some overhead 😅.
Also, after going over the local requirements and labeling regulations with my health inspector, the only route for this would be to have the cinnamon rolls made directly in my commercial kitchen. Labeling and Storage become a huge hassle otherwise. But this way also gives someone the opportunity to use a licensed commercial space and storefront.

If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, send me a message with a little bit about yourself and your current operation, what you make, some photos of your cinnamon rolls! Samples will get you far🫶🏼. Please tag, share, and nominate suggestions below. If this works out, I’ll probably open the situation to cookies as well.

I wasn’t at the store this last week, but I was still around and catching the cookie butter off the freight truck at Trader Joe’s because that’s the only way to get some 🤦🏼‍♀️

I will not gatekeep the secret to the best cookie butter lol! This stuff is gold and rarely makes it to the shelf. Biscoff is put to shame.

I am back today! Read for updates!
Not much available today though, spending the next few days fulfilling custom/personal orders and building stock back for the week.

I closed for the last week for a couple reasons - vacation, re-evaluation, expansion, and a total reset.

Vacation - great! Wonderful! Short lived 🥲🤣. Mentally I’m burning out on routine. I’m not one to stick with things for long and I’m 3 years into this so I’m giving myself some grace 😅

Re-evaluation - My August sales were half of July and my September sales were less than half of August. I put in the work and numbers were not changing. So I have made some menu moves. I was hoping everything would be ready by today, but still waiting on some things to arrive.
In the mean time, I did pick up a small job which is requiring an adjustment to the hours. We’re going down to 12-7. I can’t be here by 11 now and need that last extra hour for deliveries so I have time to sleep. I’m grateful the store is holding its own bills but I’m still putting everything I make back into it for expansion.

Expansion - after “meaning to” make cinnamon rolls for quite literally months and then just never getting around to it, I am going to open applications for someone to provide the store with cinnamon rolls and if that works out other baked goods. I did get in touch with my health department rep to figure out the logistics, and after everything said and done, it’s just best to work out of order for use of my licensed kitchen. I will make another post on this shortly. On top of that, I’ve got some new things coming myself.

Reset - Gave the kitchen a total clean out and rearranged all the fixtures/equipment in the back to make way for new and more!

Sorry for the late notice, but in house deliveries are unavailable until probably Tuesday. Got some things to do this weekend.

Store will be open 12-7 while I’m away though!

Practice full-size Oreo is on the website to the first person who wants it for $30.

She has some flaws 💅.

There is a slice missing. Usually I replace the slice I cut, but I wasn’t expecting it to be so heavy and it flopped onto the table and then I tried to catch it with my hands reflexively, and it was a mess. 🪨

The cake box is the worst cake box that has ever existed.

It’s a tad under set up. I probably should have cut into this tomorrow instead of today. I don’t know if it will resolve now, it could it just need more time in the fridge.

The crust is THICK.

I did try the fallen slice. I personally don’t think this taste as good as the cups and I don’t know why 🤷‍♀️ it could just be me, or maybe the Oreo crust isn’t meant to be in the oven for an hour. I did not try the other full size so I don’t know if those taste different compared to the cups.

I was planning on having a very productive day, but Taylor Swift is doing things so now my whole day is shot, new menu coming eventually . 🫶🏼
