A little update from Castnet Bakery 💗

The Health Department stopped by today after receiving another anonymous complaint about my bakery.

I’m happy to say that, just like the first visit, everything checked out perfectly. We passed with no issues.

Whats irritating isn’t the inspection, I’m proud of the way I run my bakery and will always welcome anyone making sure I’m following the rules. It’s that someone chose to anonymously report a small local business instead of simply reaching out to me with any questions or concerns.

Because of reports like these, inspectors have to spend their day visiting multiple small businesses that are simply trying to serve their communities. Now I’m sure not all follow or are knowledgeable on the rules so I understand their role but you could attempt to not waste their time with frivolous complaints. I’ve been open for 7 years…stated on my page. It’s likely I’m doing the right thing ☺️

If you ever have a concern about Castnet Bakery, I welcome it. I’d much rather answer your questions directly than have misunderstandings become anonymous complaints.

To everyone who continues to support, encourage, and believe in this little bakery…thank you. Your kindness means more than you know.

Now… it’s time to get back to baking. ❤️
