Hello everyone. This is Mike. Thanks for staying patient with us during the remodel. It's taking longer than we wanted but it'll be worth it in the end. While the inside is ongoing, there is a flurry of activity scheduled in the next few weeks that will really start to shape up the outside and patio. Until then, enjoy the summer and lake and we will see you when we do finally open.

In the meantime, we can still share in some good times while the remodel is going on. The boys and I will be out to kick off the Boater's Beach season on Sat. June 13th 1-4pm. If you've been to a Day Drinkers show, then you know it's a party. If you have NOT been to a Day Drinkers show, make sure you have life preservers, a flare gun and a fire extinguisher on your boat.*

It's time to vote. We are asking everyone that came out to sign the petition this winter to get out and vote this Tuesday May 5th. When we do finally open the doors, we'd love to serve you a Sunday Bloody Mary! Vote yes to allow Sunday liquor sales at Sloopy's on the Lake.

Well since we are going to be delayed, we are offering the acts that we unfortunately have to cancel on the lake to venture down to Sloopy's in Greenville. Zach has agreed to make the journey down to Greenville. If you are down south stop in, have a cocktail with us and catch some great live music. Those of you up north know Zach is the real deal.

With the lake season ramping up, it’s time for an update. We know everyone is asking. Although we have good things coming, the remodel is taking longer than anticipated. The project has grown a bit from the original concept, but it will be worth the wait once it all gets done. We did take the interior down to the studs, moved the kitchen and opened up the inside by removing some walls and changing the layout extremely. The plumbing has been one of the biggest drags on the timing. However, we all know that the southside plumbing is not the greatest. We would rather get the plumbing fixed properly than deal with problems of the past. Plus, we are doubling the size of the restrooms so new plumbing was needed anyway.

So… the big question is when are we going to open? Well its going to be a little longer. We know it isn’t what any of us wanted, but it’s what is needed to do it right. We are hesitant to put an opening date out there until we really have a solid date for a soft opening.

Even though we are not there yet, rest assured, we will have a brand-new look and vibe inside with some cool patio improvements that will just force you to have a good time when you stop by. We’ll have 12 docks for boats, so lets fill them up when we open. In the meantime, the lake level is looking good, its time to enjoy another great season on the lake. We’ll just see you in a little while longer.
