And just like that… Week TEN is finished up, marking another summer of lunch-making is in the books. ☀️🥪

The last Boys and Girls Club of SM lunches officially left the kitchen on Thursday and while we’re excited to get a few extra minutes back in our day… we’re going to miss it!
Extra big shoutout to Big Maple Family Farm, LLC and Apple Blossom Farm for all the cucumbers this week!
🍦Brandy Camp Creamery + helped us spoil the kids a day this week too🍦

This summer was about so much more than lunch. It became a community effort in the best way possible. We had a few hiccups, and we are thankful for our friends around town who graciously stepped in to help!

Next week, we’re pulling back the curtain and giving a great big highlight out to all of the local businesses that helped fill these lunches with fresh, local goodness. Because when we say it takes a village… we mean it.

We should’ve known better than to let Karen leave town…

Rumor has it she put a voodoo curse on Tablespoons before she left, and in a very suspicious turn of events, we’re closing early today at 12:30 PM. Unfortunately our ovens have not shown up to work today…

Coincidence? We think not. 🌙🪆

We’ll be back to our normal hours soon… assuming someone can figure out how to break the curse. 🕯️😂

We finished up, and survived week EIGHT of Boys and Girls Club of SM daily summer Lunches… and man, we LOVE it
✨ Fox’s Pizza Den St. Marys helped us LEVEL UP our Pizza Lunchables! We also called upon our friends at Vito’s Hoagie House again, and as always, both days were a huge hit! ✨

Now, for some house keeping…
From now until the end of summer we are asking for some patience on lower Erie Avenue between 1115 and 1130… club staff pull up to our front door between that time, so that we may load 120, yes 120 lunches, into their vechile.. it takes us 3-4 minutes to do this.

Please don’t honk, use vulgur language or hand gestures… and please don’t yell out your window… perhaps we are feeding your grandchild, niece/nephew or child.
