This weekend, we had the pleasure of hosting a FIRST birthday bash for our friends at Delhunty Chiropractic Health daughter..

We wanted to show off some of the Storybook Sweets and Kay & Rose Bakery Co. Desserts, and yes we got to sample them too 🎂🍪🧁

Good friends, great food, and local businesses supporting local businesses. That’s our kind of party! ❤️

It takes a village… and apparently a whole lot of sugar! 🎂🎉

Thanks for letting The Spoon be part of such a special milestone! 🥄🎈

Since you all freaked out over the cake… HOW’S ABOUT WE SEE THE FLOWERS?! 💐🚬😂

Because apparently, when you turn 40, a cigarette-covered cake just isn’t enough. You need a floral arrangement that looks like it picked up a pack-a-day habit somewhere along the way. 💀

So naturally, I reached out to The Flower Bar with yet another completely ridiculous request.
And HOLY SMOKES… THEY DELIVERED. 👏💐

Elegant? Questionable.
Tasteful? Depends who you ask.
Absolutely unhinged? Without a doubt.
Exactly what I wanted? EVERY. SINGLE. STEM.

The Flower Bar, you absolutely KILLED IT. 🚬💐

10/10. No notes. Just secondhand smoke and beautiful flowers. 💀😂
