From beginning with a small smoker in a gas station parking lot to growing into a large mobile kitchen and catering company, Engine 51 Smokers thanks everyone for your continued support throughout the years! With the old adage “all good things must come to an end” in mind, Tex and Jenni sold the mobile kitchen; looking forward to the next chapter in their lives. E51 Smokers will no longer be vending in St. James or doing large caterings. E51 will continue to market its signature Bronc Bustin’ and Rooster rubs and possibly handle small caterings. Tex and Jenni are beyond blessed by the friendships and loyalty made through vending and competitions. Thank y’all for the great ride!!!

Need BBQ for "The 4th"? Have we got a deal for you..... We bought too many ribs, soooooooo. Our loss is your gain. We will sell our cooked ribs (frozen so all you have to do is reheat) for $12 a rack or, 3 racks for $30!!!!! Purchase 6 racks and get a free bottle of our Bronc Bustin' Rub. We are back from Colorado... We didn't fair well in the contest but we sure stayed busy with all of the visitors to the Colorado BBQ Challenge. We sold a TON of food including over 2000 ribs!!!! Clearly a fan favorite. Thank you Colorado!

We are pleased to announce that Engine 51 Smokers will be appearing on the Travel Channel's new show "The Grill of Victory". Check it out on 23 MAY at 1:00pm central.

Here is how the Travel Channel describes the show:

Three teams face off with their home made mega-grills to prove they have the best BBQ skills in the state of Missouri. The team with the baddest rig, the tastiest food, and the best backyard barbecue will take home the grand prize of $10,000. Here's the twist- the teams judge each other! Each team cooks two meats and two side dishes, but everyone must use...St. Louis Cut Ribs! Up first is Engine 51 Smokers, a group of Firefighters riding into the competition on a 38 foot long gooseneck trailer that's been decked out with emergency lights and sirens. They're followed by Twisted Belly, who use their Red, White and Blue party wagon to throw down the ultimate tailgate. Finally, Buckingham Pig Kings, a team of expert restaurateurs, are ready to play the competition off with their giant grand piano themed rig. With only six hours to cook these three teams and their monster grills will battle high flames, the clock, and each other for the chance to win The Grill of Victory.
