Serving scratch made breakfast - coffee and pastries - burgers and sandwiches - salads and ice cream - in a casual, family friendly environment. We are excited and grateful for the opportunity to serve our community. As residents of Saint Helena Island, cooks, and general lovers of food and hospitality, we are opening this restaurant as what we always wished existed on the island. After every trip
to Hunting Island we wish we could stop for a burger, fried chicken sandwich, and some soft serve. We understand that's the indulgent side of things, so we want to make sure anyone choosing a healthier lifestyle will find something satisfying and delicious, too. Our menu is written the way WE enjoy eating things, but if it doesn't seem like something you'll enjoy, by all means - make substitutions or build your own sandwich or plate. We value eating food the way WE like it, and want everyone to have that experience when they come to Beedos. We are admittedly not very experienced with Gluten Free and Keto cooking, but we are working on expanding our horizons to be inclusive to those segments of the population as well. And we will always be receptive to feedback on what our local community is looking for. :)
Our goal is to be open all day (dawn to dusk) during the busier season here on the island, May-September. We will adapt as needed to the demands of our customers, staff and our family, and hope that all will be understanding.
