More than a sculpture, our Painted Pony carries a story of resilience, creativity, and second chances.
Created by Southern Utah artist Matt Clark, the sculpture was inspired by his lifelong connection to horses and his journey of overcoming a life-changing accident that ended his dreams of becoming a rodeo cowboy. Crafted from over 850 pieces of scrap metal—including pieces inspired by the restaurant itself—the Painted Pony became a symbol of transformation: taking what was once overlooked and creating something extraordinary.
