We are not your typical corner bar. redbar opened on August 1, 2012 in the space that housed long-time popular restaurant Madecki’s and then short-live Cool Water on St Francis Avenue, in beautiful St Francis, WI and just one block south of the Bay View neighborhood in Milwaukee proper. We feature 2 bars on 2 levels (the upstairs space doubles
as an authentic tiki bar called Ula Ula tiki room, a giant game room (pool, darts, video golf, shuffleboard, and video machines). The main bar has floor to ceiling windows in the front, 4 TV’s and plenty of seating. Spring of 2020 also brings us a brand-new patio out back, which allows our patrons to enjoy the beautiful spring, summer and fall days and nights while socializing with their friends and families. Our kitchen is run by Dairyland Old Fashioned Hamburgers, who moved in to share our space in December 2025. Joe, Kurt & Katie are excited to bring their popular menu to our neighborhood. The kitchen hours, beginning in January 2026 are 2pm - 10pm M- F and 11am - 10pm on Sat & Sun. We are a bar for everybody. Every age, race, sexual orientation, gender; sports lover, board game player, live music fan, day drinker, night owl.... everybody is welcome at redbar. We boast 9 TVs to cheer on all of our hometown teams. And we pay tribute to Wisconsin and the beers that continue to make us famous! You can expect Wisconsin brews on tap and a great selection of seasonals, with everything from Porters to Lagers.
