Listen. Tacos are for every day not just Tuesdays lol this arrachera cut was marinated for a couple hours before hitting the scorching hot coals on the grill to a nice medium. Tortillas warmed on the hot coals then topped this bad boy up with a roasted tomatillo salsa, cilantro, a splash of lime and my pickled onions. Don’t forget to cut against the grain. Listos for tomorrow!!! Still taking preorders. I will be making extra for those who want some last minute tomorrow. I would also like to take this opportunity to encourage others in the food industry to NOT throw ANY food away. Homelessness and hunger is at an all time high. But specifically in Sacramento. Rest assured here at .comida no food will ever go to waste. All food that is left over for the day will instead be individually portioned and packaged and then distributed to the homeless and hungry in our community. We may not be able to help all but if others in the business jump in, together we can make a difference. Let’s start a trend! See y’all tomorrow! #916

Ceviche anyone? This is our take on the classic dish. Our version sits on a bed of freshly smashed avocado. A combination of raw and poached shrimp in a tomato and soy based sauce. What’s up mi jente. Did you miss me? Have you been wondering when we were gunna start this thing??? A lot of bad s**t and obstacles happened and has caused a delay on this project. We were near the end with the food truck. However shortly after the agreement with the owner of the food truck we found out that there was a lien on the truck therefore causing us to pull away and again start from scratch. After feeling a little discouraged with the situation I’m back at it and not going to give up on this dream. I know some of you have been asking WHEN!!!!???? And since we don’t want to keep you waiting I will be making 2 dishes in the coming weeks available for pick up in the Sacramento area. Stay tuned for the 2 dishes that I will be serving up. No tacos will be served at this time due to the fact that all tacos are best enjoyed hot and fresh. I refuse to let you eat a soggy taco!!! More information coming soon, stay tuned!!!!

Hola raza! Our licensing process is taking a lot longer then expected so we will unfortunately have to push back our launch day. Our plan is to pop-up at food markets & events so stay tuned for our next announcement.

In the mean time we will be posting content of all our recipe testing going on in our kitchen!

Thanks for all the support so far and we can't wait to feed you.

The Breakfast Taco is seriously underrated. This one has a smear of crema, a fried egg, and una salsita de molcajete, all topped with queso cotija. Simple (minus the elbow grease required to make a salsa de molcajete) yet delicioso.
