There is a naan on our menu stuffed with maraschino cherries, coconut flakes
and raisins. It's called kabuli naan and people either order it every single time or
refuse to believe it exists.
The rest of the list is more predictable, in a good way. Garlic cilantro. Garlic
basil. Keema, stuffed with spiced ground lamb. Cheese naan with chaat masala.
Onion. Aloo paratha.

Jhol means broth. Jhol momo means the dumplings arrive sitting in it.
Ours is built from roasted sesame seeds, ripe tomatoes and fermented soybean
— nutty, sour, deep, nothing like a clear soup. The dumplings soak while you
eat, so the last one tastes different from the first.
Chicken or vegetable. Bring a spoon appetite.

Momo is a dumpling. That's the whole barrier to entry.
Order them steamed if you want to taste the filling. Fried if you want a crust. C.
Momo if you want them tossed hot with bell pepper, onion and ginger-garlic.
And jhol if you want a bowl instead of a plate — more on that one soon.
Chicken or vegetable, ten to an order. Which is the correct number for one
person and a source of conflict for two.
