Overheard in the dining room the other night...
"45 minutes for a pizza! We will never be back.”
Gosh. That one really stings, guys. 🥺
We'd love for every single person who walks through our doors to have a five-star experience. We really would. But the truth is, we're human. We work incredibly hard to put out the best pizza we possibly can, and we genuinely care about every single pizza that comes out of our kitchen—but sometimes we make mistakes, and sometimes things take longer than we'd like.
If we mess something up, please tell us. We will always do our very best to make it right. We don't like upsetting people, and we want you to leave here happy.
And if you're worried about your wait time, please ask us! We'll give you the most accurate estimate we can. But please know that during a busy night, even our best estimate isn't always going to be perfect. We're making our best guess based on everything happening in the kitchen at that moment.
One thing we also want to explain: if you come into our dining room and it's not very full, but you're still waiting 30+ minutes for your pizza, that doesn't necessarily mean we're standing around in the kitchen twiddling our thumbs. 😂
We do a lot of take out! There may be several orders ahead of yours that came in over the phone, and we're working through those tickets too. Our kitchen is small, our staff is small, and there are only so many pizzas two people can make at once.
We're doing everything we can to get your food out as quickly as possible without sacrificing on the quality that we are proud of and that you deserve.
We know your time is valuable. We know waiting isn't fun. And we know we won't get everything right 100% of the time.
But please know that we care. We appreciate every single person who chooses to spend their hard-earned money with us, and we're incredibly grateful for your continued support of our little pizza shop.
