Do to the impending rain, we will NOT be having the chicken swap this weekend! However, one of our vendors is still trying to sell her birds as she is moving!

Below is what she has available:

“I have two Jersey Giant layers, a White Leghorn layer, what I was described as a New Hampshire White Rooster and I have two pullets left (white leghorn, barred rock/silkie mix)”

We did not have much response to the invitation to swap this month..

I believe the time of season and the heat are major contributing factors; therefore, we will have an 🔴OPEN SWAP🔴 this month.

There will be no vendor registration. You are welcome to set up at Ruston Tractor Supply from 9am until 1pm if you are trying to rehome livestock {only}!

We will try to hold VIRTUAL SWAPS 😍 in the near future - stay tuned for details and please start inviting your chicken friends to the page ASAP‼️

The JUNE Ruston chicken swap will be on June 19th starting at 9 A.M.

All vendors should be set up by 8:50 A.M.

Please ensure your birds are HEALTHY. Last month, we saw a rooster with clear signs of scaley mites. Please ensure you are familiar with common poultry illnesses and be careful to only sell, buy, or trade birds in pristine condition with no signs or symptoms of illness.

Do your part to keep your flock and others’ flocks safe!
