Proverbs 3: 5-6
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.”
We naturally want answers before we move forward. We want to see the entire road before taking the first step. But God often calls us to walk by faith, trusting His wisdom over our own limited perspective.
Notice the promise is not that God will explain everything. The promise is that He will direct your path. Sometimes His guidance comes through open doors, sometimes through closed ones, and sometimes through the quiet assurance that He is leading even when we cannot yet see the destination.
Today, identify one decision or burden that has been occupying your thoughts.
Instead of trying to solve every detail yourself, pray specifically about it and intentionally surrender it to God. Then ask yourself:
“Am I making this decision out of fear, or out of trust?”
Trust grows one act of obedience at a time. Even small steps taken in faith honor God.
There are seasons when God seems silent, and we may wonder if He is still guiding us.
Remember that a teacher is often quiet during a test, not because they have abandoned the student, but because they know the student is growing.
If you’ve wandered, God has not stopped inviting you back. If you’ve failed, His grace is still available. If you’ve become discouraged, His promises have not changed.
You do not have to earn your way back into God’s presence. Through Christ, you are invited to come just as you are, with your questions, your doubts, and your hope that He is still working.
Pray with me:
Heavenly Father,
Teach me to trust You with my whole heart and not rely only on what I can see or understand. Give me wisdom for today’s decisions, courage to obey Your Word, and peace when the future feels uncertain. Draw near to those who feel weary or far from You. Remind them that Your love never changes, Your mercy never runs out, and Your guidance is always perfect. Help us follow You faithfully, one step at a time.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
Faith is not knowing every step ahead; it is knowing the One who has already walked the road before you. Trust God’s heart, even when you cannot yet see His hand. ❤️💪🏽🙏🏽👊🏽
