People are talking about our scones! (Presenting a selection of recent comments, gathered from across the internet, about The Wayfarer Café in Runnemede, NJ.)
“You know that dry scone you had one time that made you swear them off forever??? This is NOT that scone. This scone was everything I always wanted a scone to be. Soft on the inside and light crisp on the outside. There were no crumbs falling out after every bite. Just a light, not too sweet flavor that made it so worth trying to get back onto the ‘Scone Side.’” Taylor A.
“... Now, the scone. This is probably one of the best scones I've had in taste and texture. It's firm but deliciously soft on the inside.” Brittany F.
“This is a wonderful little café with flavorful coffee and the best scones and biscuits I've ever had!” Cynthia V.
“... And the scones—really great!” Rob E.
“I also took home an apple spice scone and a lemon blueberry one. They were light, fluffy and moist! For fans of Baked on the Beach scones in Long Beach Island, these will remind you of theirs! They are absolutely delicious!” Lisa V.
“My scone was delicious, the Americano was strong and rich, and everyone was friendly and inviting.” Gabe A.
“The chocolate chip scone was the best I ever had!” Cameo
“And these are the days when I really love my job… eating a scone that was bursting with blueberry flavor, or a breakfast sandwich made with a light and flaky biscuit. Delicious!” Mark Matthews, 42 Freeway
“Just had one of these (scones), and oh BOY was this amazing. I could eat these every day.” Joseph M.
“The scones are the best I've had in ages! Sending the husband back for more tomorrow. Highly recommend!” Lola W.

“Had a chocolate chip scone last week; it was sooo delicious!!!” Mary Anne O.
“I don’t like scones, but because the owner had expressed such joy for making them, I gave it a try after most of it had already been whittled away by my husband and kids. It was, quite literally, the best scone I’ve ever had. I wish I’d tried it sooner. I’ll be back for more...” I T
“If you’re a scone person like me, this is ‘scone central.’” S. Merrian
