Chinese Egg rolls tonight.
Pork breakfast sausage patties
Cooked in olive oil then chopped up.
Sautéed red onions chopped in olive oil
Sautéed Garlic chopped
Sautéed Jalapeño peppers chopped- not too spicy- I buy a bunch because some are really really HOT and others not.
Fresh minced Ginger- not too much- it’s very overpowering.
Mix all the ingredients together.
Add soy sauce - not too much.
Chinese oyster sauce - a couple of tablespoons
Honey a couple of tablespoonfuls
Taste and add more to your liking.
Eggroll wrappers -I purchased in the produce department.
Lay flat spoon a tablespoon or more in middle
Fold like a burrito.
Brush all edges with water to stick together.
Fry in canola or vegetable oil both sides until golden.
Drain on paper towels.
Cilantro garnish
I would have chopped Chives on top, but didn’t have any.
Sauces-Chinese orange duck sauce
Soy sauce.
Yummy yum yum!
I’m going to make some vegetarian rolls tomorrow night.
