Meet the Downshift Brew Crew ❤️ Bobby is our Outside Sales Manager / B**r Evangelist. You’ll find him with Jolene, the B**r Delivery Van, making deliveries to our accounts around town, packaging b**r at the brewery, or behind the bar at either spot teaching the team and our guests about our b**rs.

Why Downshift? - I mean where else?! Downshift is one of the best breweries on the planet and has given me the opportunity to work with some great folks that I am happy to call my friends. Not to mention it’s allowed me to be a part of this awesome community that has treated me like family.

Favorite b**r? - Snowday Snowday Snowday❄️

Favorite food? - The Chicken Tenders at Hidden Tap tossed in hot honey garlic sauce…. should be featured on Top Chef lol

Fun fact? - I’m a sauce boss!! I have a huge passion for making hot sauces and salsas.

Speaking of sauces, Bobby is the brains behind our Pickle Buffalo sauce. 👨‍🍳 We’re grateful to have Bobby on our team, and if you haven’t met our favorite ginger - we hope you get the opportunity to soon!

September in Ruidoso is looking pretty damn good. 🍻⛰️

A ridiculous amount of live music. Run Club. Open Mic. Trivia. Vita Pils release & Italian night. A big ol’ Texas blues-rock show. And, oh yeah… RUIDOSO OKTOBERFEST.

We’ve packed a LOT into September at both Downshift locations.

Grindstone Cowboys has officially ridden into town. 🤠🍺

We got together with our friends at Lost Hiker Brewing to brew a b**r inspired by the place we call home.

Grindstone Cowboys is a Mountain Hazy IPA loaded with Citra, Galaxy and Mosaic hops - it’s juicy, hazy and made for lake days, starry nights and good company.

Two Ruidoso breweries. One mountain town. One damn good b**r.

Ruidoso is slowing down for the season. We’re staying up a little later. 🍺🌮🍔

We’ve had enough people walk through the door right after kitchen close asking, “Anywhere in town still serving food?” that we decided to do something about it. As we move into our fall hours at The Hidden Tap, we’re extending the kitchen until 10:30 PM Thursday to Saturday, with the bar open until 11 PM.

So whether you’re getting out of work late, coming off the mountain, leaving a show or just realized at 9:15 that dinner never happened, come see us.
