Celebrating over fifty years in business, the Royston Drive In is a laid-back dine-in and pick-up restaurant serving classic diner fare. On top of our delicious (and affordable) breakfast selection, we also offer hamburger steaks cooked to order, crispy chicken strips, fried flounder, cheap cheeseburger combos, classic clubs, and philly cheesesteak sandwiches served with grilled peppers, onions,

and creamy swiss cheese. Try our chicken strips on one of our built-on-the-spot chef salads. Wanting a healthier alternative? Our grilled chicken salads are just as popular. Our home-made dessert options can be found by the register when you check out. Red velvet cakes and chocolate brownies are baked fresh and sold daily -- don't miss out!

We are still receiving questions about our hours so I have decided to repost this for those who may have missed it last time. We are open all week and closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Please note: we will be closed Monday, September 2nd, in observance of Labor Day.

We will be reopening the Drive In on Tuesday, 9/12. Thank you for your patience and condolences in this hard time. While it will never be the same, Mary would be the first to demand we open back up.

To all concerned,

The memorial service for Maryann Baker will be held tomorrow, Friday September 8th, at 2:00 pm at Pruitt Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers we request any donations be made to Pruitt’s to be used toward the funeral costs.

We, as well as Mary’s friends and family, would like to take the time to thank everyone for their condolences and prayers, as there are too many to reply to individually. The outpouring of love for Mary has touched us all.

The Royston Drive In will be closed until further notice due to the passing of its manager and our beloved friend and family member, Maryann Baker.

She had the biggest heart, there was nothing she wouldn’t do for you. She leaves behind her husband, her four children and grandchildren, as well as her parents and three siblings.

She loved her job and will be sorely missed.

Currently we do not have any service information and we do not know when we will open back up.

Due to the boil water advisory, all restaurants in Royston are required to close today until we hear further instructions from the Health Department. We apologize for any inconvenience and will reopen asap as soon as we are given the green light.
