RLAGC makes this amazing community resource happen!
🌱 Over 1900 packets of seeds have been borrowed from the Seed Library so far this year. That's some amazing gardening being done in our community! Let's see some of the results. Tag us with photos of your garden bounty, flower beds, or dishes you've made with the things you've grown. And don't forget, there are things like lettuce, spinach, green onions, radishes, and carrots that grow well in the cool weather that's coming soon. Special thanks to the Round Lake Area Garden Club for maintaining the community's seed library located in the Adult Services department of the Round Lake Area Public Library.
[image description: A clipboard with a form detailing seed checkouts sits on top of the cabinet that houses the Seed Library. It is overlapped with several small packets labeled with photos of the vegetables and flowers whose seeds are inside: radishes, wildflowers, spinach, and carrots. Behind the clipboard and seeds are acrylic displays outlining the seed donation and borrowing procedures, as well as a mug holding pens. The mug features the blue-and-white icon for libraries, which depicts a person holding a book.]
