Only Two Boating Safety Courses Remaining in 2026 - Black Lake Fish and Game Club and Ogdensburg Volunteer Rescue Squad

As the 2026 summer boating season begins to wind down, the Coast Guard Auxiliary announces our two remaining Boat America boating safety classes. August 19 & 20 at the Black Lake Fish and Game Club, NYS Route 58 and 51 Gilmour Road, Morristown, NY (Ogdensburg, NY 13669) from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. You must attend both nights. September 15 & 17 at the Ogdensburg Volunteer Rescue Squad, 1223 Pickering Street, Ogdensburg, NY 13669 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. You must attend both nights.

Remember, as of January 1, 2025, all operators of motorized vessels regardless of your age, are required by New York State to complete a boater safety course before operating their vessel. “Boat America” fulfills this requirement. You will receive your card and certificate at the end of the second night.

Tuition is $35.00 per person with family rates, group rates and scholarships available. Preregistration is required. To register send your name, email address and phone number to [email protected] or for further information call 315-605-8041
