ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Perform starting tasks including: checking in players, taking payment for green fees, getting
players to the first tee as scheduled and keeping starting times on track.
2. Instruction – Make appointments for lessons during scheduled work hours, make entries into
computer system, ensure shop coverage, teach lessons and verify payment.
3. Manage merchandise –Receive order, enter items into the inventory, place new items out for
display. Ring up items sold, process returns and assist with questions or information requests.
4. Tournament play – Point of contact, prepare pairing sheet of players, cart tags, score cards and all
the preparation for the day
5. Member services – Answer phones, make tee time reservations, monitor driving range, ring up
purchases, answer questions, place special orders and follow up when received.
NON ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. May assist with payroll preparation including: reviewing e-time reports, making edits, entering
missed punch items, and follow up on missing data.
2. Other duties as required.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Above average computer skills including Word, Excel, Internet and email. Able to operate office
machines including copier, fax and postage meter. Basic knowledge of club fitting and knowledge of
golf equipment. Excellent communication skills including; verbal, written, interpersonal and dispute
resolution. 2 years of golf industry experience preferred.
