New restaurant seeking a professional, reliable, trustworthy, and energetic Restaurant Line Cook with 2 years or more culinary experience in the restaurant field. Job entails cooking for a restaurant that will be mainly take out and dine in. We are looking for a skilled Cook to prepare delicious meals according to menu. Someone who specializes in vegan food and desserts is a plus. You will cook dishes that will delight our customers with their taste and timely delivery. An excellent cook must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. They must be skilled in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is important. The goal is to help preserve and enhance our reputation so we can expand our clientele.

Responsibilities

1. Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
2. Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
3. Cook food in various utensils or grillers
4. Check food while cooking to stir or turn
5. Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
6. Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
7. Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
8. Check quality of ingredients
9. Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages

Skills

-Proven experience as cook
-Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
-Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
-Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
-Ability to work in a team
-Very good communication skills

High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage. Culinary graduates are also encouraged to apply. ServSafe certified is a plus. Experience in using computer systems preferred. Job requires long hours standing and heavy lifting.

New restaurant seeking a professional, reliable, trustworthy, and energetic Restaurant Assistant Manager with 2 years or more supervisory experience in the restaurant field. Job entails managing a restaurant that will be mainly take out and dine in.

Restaurant Assistant Manager Responsibilities:

1. Ensure daily safety protocols are maintained.
2.Taking accurate orders over the phone, in person, and managing take out hubs(Uber Eats, Grubhub etc.)
3.Handling customer issues with empathy
4. Ensuring orders are processed efficiently and prepared in a timely manner
5. Managing food and supplies delivery and inventory
6. Assisting in food preparation and warm handoff to customers

Culinary graduates are also encouraged to apply. ServSafe certified required. Experience in using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel preferred. Job requires long hours standing and heavy lifting.
