🩷 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to support and educate each other.
🎀 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime.
🎀 Early detection saves lives, when found early, the 5-year survival rate is over 90%.
🎀 Men can get breast cancer too, though rare, about 1% of cases occur in men.
🎀 Regular screenings matter, mammograms can detect cancer before symptoms appear.
🎀 Lifestyle factors like exercise, maintaining a healthy weight, and limiting alcohol can help reduce risk.
🎀 Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women worldwide, but survival rates continue to rise thanks to research and awareness.
Together, we can help spread awareness. Wear pink in honor of the fighters and survivors, and educate yourself and others on how to be proactive in the fight against breast cancer.
