This years Smoke on the Plains was our best yet! We placed 1st in ribs, 3rd in pork and 10th in brisket! Good enough for 3rd place overall! Congrats to everyone that got their names called! Forgot to show off our awesome team shirts this year!!!

We had a really good cook this year at Smoke on the Plains BBQ & Music Fest! We even managed to get a few calls!

Peoples choice pulled pork 6th

Overall 18th out of 43 teams

Todays cook is exactly what I needed. The food came out awesome and almost better than I expected. The flavor from fire cooked food cannot be duplicated! Also an added bonus….tried out a new sauce that was sent to me by My Dad's BBQ really added a ton of flavor and complimented the meat very well! Looking forward to more cooks with it!

Going back to basics, back to where it all started. Pork shoulder covered in cowtowns the squeal cooked on open fire! I haven’t been this excited to cook in a long time

Smoke on the Plains BBQ & Music Fest 2023….this years “just send it” and “more beers” mentality is just what we needed! Best comp we’ve had yet!

Overall 12th!
Not to shabby for a team that competes once or twice a year to get 12th out of 32!! Maybe we should do this more often 🤣
