I've got a bunch of clucking crazy hens trying to go broody on me, and they don't care if the eggs are fertilized or not, it's all the same to these feathered fanatics. Some of them get downright testy when I try to swipe the eggs, let's just say diplomacy isn't their strong suit.

I've got 3 pounds of yellow squash taking up residence in the Egg Stand today. Tomatoes will crash the party in about a week.

A while back I posted that ginormous egg one of my hens laid, and surprise surprise, she's now laying super small eggs 😂🤣😂🤣. Apparently, it's not just the newbies that go tiny, but these girls have been around the block a few times. Guess it's just another day on the farm.

Oh my!!!!! Sorry folks it just would not fit into the carton. It was a double yolk.

I refrigerate all of my eggs. If you would like eggs that have not been refrigerated, please let me know. I get 5 dzn per day. Unwashed fresh eggs (eggs that still have the bloom) can last on the counter for at least 30 days.
