An update on our salads — and what's ahead

With the cyclosporiasis outbreak in the news, we've seen a lot of confusion about which lettuce is affected. The investigation is still evolving, so rather than wait, we want to be clear about exactly what we serve.

Our Mixed Greens: Every salad we make starts with a certified organic blend of baby green leaf, red leaf, and romaine — grown in indoor greenhouses right here in the US using a hydroponic system. That means a clean, controlled growing environment instead of open fields, no pesticides, and greens that stay refrigerated from delivery to your plate.

If anything changes: We're following the FDA and CDC updates closely. If the investigation ever touches anything we serve, we'll adjust immediately and you'll hear it from us first.

Our dressings: As always, every dressing we make is 100% seed oil free. That hasn't changed and won't.

One more thing: We're looking at adding something like this 👇 — a Tuscan bean salad and a Mediterranean bean salad with chickpeas, cucumber, tomato, red onion, and feta. If that sounds good to you, tell us in the comments — your interest decides whether they make the menu.

Whether he’s in the kitchen perfecting a recipe, helping guests feel at home, or making memories with his family, Bobby puts his whole heart into everything he does. His dedication, hard work, and love for family are woven into the foundation of Artisan.
