A very heart ♥️ felt thank you everyone that came in tonight with Alpha-gal syndrome and enjoyed a AGS friendly meal with their family & Sam’s staff. ♥️🫶🏻 (D&S 🫶🏻♥️👍)

For those who don’t know : Alpha-gal syndrome (AGS) is a serious, potentially life-threatening allergy to a sugar molecule found in mammals. It is usually caught from a lone star tick bite. Eating red meat or dairy can cause delayed allergic reactions like hives, stomach pain, or trouble breathing. It’s a horrible disease that causes people to have a bad reaction to eating beef, pork, dairy products and other products.

That being said… My Boss/Wife has had AGS for ten years. Hearing your stories about the severity of your reactions is what had made Sam’s compelled to have a AGS menu Saturday evenings. With the support of the AGS community, Sam’s will do our best to continue with an AGS menu with the most care and responsibility of doing so. There’s definitely a lot of people who need an AGS menu. We are happy to help you with a safe menu for those with AGS.

Entrées - Served with a choice of side, dinner salad and a hot roll.

Frito Pie: Frito corn chips with turkey chili, lettuce, tomato and onion. $9.99

Chicken Fried Chicken: Breaded & deep-fried cubed chicken breast. Smothered in dairy-free peppered gravy. $19

Pan Seared Salmon: Salmon fillets with garlic, onion, tomato, dairy-free butter, lemon & herbs. $19

Emu Filet: Taste just like a beef filet. 6 oz filet, sautéed mushrooms, onions, garlic and dairy-free seasoning. $39

Spaghetti: Ground turkey meat sauce, pasta noodles served with side salad and dairy-free garlic bread. $14.99

Taco Salad: seasoned ground turkey, lettuce, flour tortilla bowl, onions, tomatoes. $14.99

Due to a transformer going out in the local area, Sam’s will have to close for today. We have no power. SWEPCO’s estimating the restoration of the power 4 to 5 hours from now. Therefore, we will need to close for the day. Sorry for the news. See y’all tomorrow.
