We are excited to hear what Margaret Lindsey Sharpe will share at the Rotary meeting! We bet she will share some exciting details about what’s to come at Lunchbox Works!😉

The Rocky Mount Rotary Club is honored to welcome Margaret L. Sharpe, President of Tri-County Industries Inc., as our featured speaker.

With more than 30 years of leadership experience in education, nonprofit management, workforce development, and community engagement, Margaret has dedicated her career to helping organizations grow while creating opportunities that strengthen the communities they serve.

Before leading Tri-County Industries, Margaret served as a principal and instructional leader, where she focused on school improvement, staff development, and data-driven decision-making. Today, she continues to make an impact through her leadership at Tri-County Industries and her service in numerous regional organizations, including as Eastern Regional Vice President of the North Carolina Association of Rehabilitation Facilities. Her commitment to inclusive leadership has also earned her the Triangle Business Journal's Leaders in Diversity Award.

Whether you're a Rotarian, community leader, business professional, or someone looking to learn more about the important work happening across our region, you won't want to miss this inspiring presentation.

Rocky Mount… it’s happening! 🚧❤️

After months of planning, dreaming, designing, and preparing, we’re excited to share that construction is officially underway at Lunchbox Works!

What began as a vision for a gourmet deli built on purpose is now becoming a reality right before our eyes.

Every wall, every detail, and every decision is being made with one goal in mind: creating a place where the people and the food are wonderfully made.

We know many of you have been following this journey from the beginning, and we can’t thank you enough for your encouragement, patience, and support. Seeing construction begin makes everything feel a little more real—and we couldn’t be more excited.

This is just the beginning.

Big things are happening behind the scenes at Lunchbox Works… and we couldn’t be more excited to share this update with you!

Our architectural plans have officially been submitted, and we are now waiting on final approval. As soon as we get the green light, our contractors are ready to hit the ground running.

And while we wait…

We’re pouring our energy into something just as important—perfecting the menu. Every sandwich, every salad, every detail is being thoughtfully created to deliver something truly special.

This isn’t just about opening a deli.
It’s about building a place with purpose—where the people and the food are wonderfully made.

We are getting closer every day, and we can’t wait to open our doors and welcome you in.

Rocky Mount… it’s COMING. And it’s going to be worth the wait.

Rocky Mount your response has been incredible!

Because of the overwhelming support, excitement, and encouragement from this community, we took a deeper look at our original space alongside our architects. What we realized was simple:

It wasn’t big enough.

-Not big enough to comfortably serve you.
-Not big enough to fully support our team and our mission.

So we made a decision….

We are moving two doors down into a larger space that will allow for:
• More seating
• More room for ordering
• A better catering workspace
• A layout designed to truly serve our community well

This change means our opening will move from March to SUMMER 2026.

We know waiting isn’t always easy but we believe this will be worth it. We are building Lunchbox Works the right way, not the rushed way.

Thank you for your patience, your belief, and your continued excitement. Because of YOU, this is already becoming something SPECIAL….Where the people and the food are wonderfully made!

What a weekend!

We set a goal to reach 1,000 followers—and thanks to this incredible community, we didn’t just reach it….We PASSED it! Over 1,200 of you are now part of the Lunchbox Works journey.

We are deeply grateful for the encouragement, the messages, the shares, and the belief in what we are building. This response confirms what we already knew: Rocky Mount is ready for SOMETHING SPECIAL.
