Dear Woodside Deli Rockville family and friends,
It is with a heavy heart that we announce closing our doors for the final time. This was not an easy decision, especially after closing our flagship location in Silver Spring in Oct. 2019, a staple in the community for over 70 years.
We opened our doors here on North Washington Street in Dec. 2010, and in that time you have welcomed us with open arms. We are proud to have become a staple here too.
When the pandemic began, Woodside like many other restaurants, was hit hard with countless obstacles. Although the pandemic is no longer what it once was, many of the impacts have since lingered. Such as supply chain related issues, drastic price increases for goods, rent increases, and staffing shortages, to name a few.
We fought hard to stay open for our community, to remain a place you could rely on for great food and superior service. But unfortunately, we could not overcome the impacts.
To all the loyal Woodside Deli customers over the years, we appreciate your patronage and support. You are the reason for our success over many years. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
We will be holding a yard sale for anyone who may be interested in any of the memorabilia and photos we have collected over the years. We will be posting further details and dates on our Facebook.
