📢 An Important Announcement from Screw City Tavern
This was not an easy decision to make, but after careful consideration, ownership and management have decided that Screw City Tavern will no longer be hosting promoted events.
Unfortunately, due to the actions and behavior of certain individuals who have been unable to conduct themselves appropriately, we have reached a point where we have to make some changes.
When we started opening our doors to these events, our intentions were nothing but good. We wanted to give local artists a place to showcase their talent, bring people together, support our community, and create opportunities for everyone to grow. Unfortunately, not everyone has respected those intentions.
The safety of our staff, our customers, and the reputation of our business will ALWAYS come first. We have worked too hard to build something positive to allow the actions of a few individuals to jeopardize that.
With that being said, we are absolutely NOT closing our doors to celebrations , local bands & groups or community involvement! ❤️
We would still LOVE to host your birthdays, baby showers, anniversaries, and other special occasions!
🎃 Our October 17th Trunk-or-Treat & Shop Local event is STILL happening! Events like these are exactly what we want Screw City Tavern to be known for: family-friendly fun, bringing the community together, supporting local businesses, and creating a welcoming environment for everyone.
We still have nothing but love and support for our local artists, especially those who are just getting started. We genuinely wish each and every one of you success in everything you do.
Please understand that this decision was not made lightly, nor is it directed at every artist or individual who has been part of our events. Unfortunately, sometimes the actions of a few affect opportunities for many.
We are still learning, growing, and figuring out exactly what direction we want to take Screw City Tavern. We appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, and continued support as we navigate new ideas and work toward building the atmosphere and reputation we envision for our business.
At the end of the day, we want Screw City Tavern to be a place where people feel welcome, respected, and SAFE.
