Friends of The Scratching Post, we have an important call to action. While we’re known for our feline friends, we’re equal-opportunity animal lovers, and today’s story is all about two pups in need! Two different families have found two separate dogs wandering alone, and neither has a microchip.

🦃✨ TURKEY TROUBLE AT THE CAFÉ! ✨🦃

Tom the turkey waddled up to the café today like he was ready for his latte and a cat cuddle. We told him, “Tom, buddy, this is a cat café, not a turkey tavern!”

He gave us a feathered shrug and strutted off—probably to find a café that’s more his style.

The cafe is open until 3 today! Come hang with us and catch a glimpse of Tom wandering around outside!

Today, three little girls walked into The Scratching Post with the kind of generosity that reminds you the world is still so good. Over the summer, they ran a lemonade stand and instead of spending their hard‑earned dollars on toys or treats, they chose to donate every bit of it to the cats at the café. 😻🍋💰

Our hearts? Melted. 💕
Our cats? Extra spoiled. 🐈‍⬛🎉
Our community? Unstoppable. 🌈🙌

Moments like this are why The Scratching Post exists — because kindness grows here, because compassion is contagious, and because even the smallest humans can make the biggest impact. 🌱💫
