🐾 Hi everyone! We just wanted to let you know that The Scratching Post will be unexpectedly closed today. One of our foster babies at home isn’t feeling well, and we really want to keep a close eye on him and make sure he’s back to his purr-fect self.

Hey there, fabulous friends! 🐾 It’s Michael here—yes, that dapper kitty in all the best ties—to clear up a bit of confusion! 😸

I know a lot of you have been asking why I was ‘suspended,’ and here’s the scoop: turns out, that little incident was just my cue to slow down and enjoy a well-deserved retirement. 🏡✨

After a wonderful run at the café—full of love, cozy chaos, and many new furry faces—I realized it was time to embrace a quieter pace. Now I’m happily retired at home, enjoying all the cuddles, “baby time” with my mom, and yes, still rocking my signature ties.

Thank you all for your sweet messages and love. And don’t forget—my friends at The Scratching Post Cat Café are still looking for their forever homes! Come visit them, give them some love, and maybe you’ll find a new family member. 🐾

🎉 Celebrating Soot’s Big Leap! 🎉

It’s official: Our adorable little black kitten, Soot, is off to start his new chapter with his loving forever family! From his playful pounces to his tiny, irresistible cuddles, Soot has won so many hearts here at The Scratching Post. He’s adoption number #53—and we couldn’t be more thrilled!

Soot is heading home to a wonderful second-time adopter, where he’ll be living his best life alongside his new big sister, Pearl. We’ll miss him dearly at the café, but knowing he’s found a loving home makes our hearts so happy.
