Well, what a spring it has been.
At home, our family celebrated a college graduation, a high school graduation, and even an eighth-grade graduate. Like so many families this time of year, we’ve shared memorable meals around tables filled with laughter, taking SO many photos, and asking ourselves how these little kids grew up so fast.
At work, we’ve been helping others celebrate their own milestones. Looking back through my camera roll this spring, I realized every photo tells the same story: people gathering to celebrate something worth remembering.
May and June brought retirement parties, a gorgeous garden wedding, a rooftop Detroit Grand Prix celebration, a heartfelt tribute to a beloved professor at the Oakland University Kresge library, a volunteer soiree at the RHPL library, celebrations for brides-to-be and mamas-to-be, handcrafted cocktails, and even a festive beer donkey. Along the way, I’ve watched our team work their magic and share plenty of good food.
Looking through these photos, I don’t see events. I see celebrations, relationships, milestones, and a lot of people making memories together.
I’m so grateful that The Silver Shamrocks gets to play a small role in so many of those stories.
Thank you for trusting us with life’s meaningful moments.
In community and food,
