As we wrap up May, we wanted to share an update with you all.
We're relieved to report that Mom's health is good, and she's feeling positive. However, she's had some recent setbacks, including a successful emergency procedure last week. She'll need to take some time to recover and attend additional appointments. She is, once again, limited on on physical activities. Another minor procedure is upcoming. Her doctors have recommended that she not return to work yet.
I've also encountered a minor injury, which has added to our challenges. Consequently, we'll be closed for June.
We greatly appreciate your ongoing support and patience, as well as the kind messages you've shared with us.

Happy May, everyone!!!
Yesterday we celebrate Mamma Chef's birthday!!
With everything she's been through the pass couple of months it was a joy to celebrate the day with her!! 🧁🥳🎁🎉💖

We are not sure of a reopening date yet. She still has quite a few appointments, tests, & therapy to complete. Every time we accomplish an evaluation, test, therapy, etc...theres another one added on. We are busy with something everyday. It is a lot but she is doing well and completing everything beyond the specialists' expectations! She is quite fortunate to not only still be here but that she is able to recover as fast as she is.

We thank you all for your patience and support through all of this.

Good morning! Hope everyone is doing well! Sorry for the late update. Things have been very busy. Mom came home last week!! She is doing very well and feeling much better. She is still limited in what she can do for a number of reasons. Unfortunately, we are unable to reopen for the month of April. There are numerous appointments, therapy, and follow-ups, something every day, all to help her get better and be prepared to return to her regular routine. We thank you all for your support and understanding during this time. We miss all of you and can't wait to be back. 💗

Good afternoon! Hope everyone is doing well!

Mom was moved to a medical rehabilitation facility late last week. They assessed her and created a therapy schedule for her. She is eager to gain her independence back and come home.

Karen and I visited Sunday since she didn't have any therapy or test that day. We talked & played games for a few hours. She even managed to beat me at a game of Backgammon! 🎲

Mom & I wanted to thank the medical staff for all their help. I made Beef BBQ & Whoopie Pies for everyone. Mom served the sandwiches out to everyone there. She was so excited to do so! It was great to see her back in the groove 😄 She managed to get out of doing dishes though.

I should have an update Thursday on her progress.

Thank you all for you support and understanding during this time. We miss all of you and can't wait to be back. 💗
