Founded in 1996, Back to the Grind brought to Riverside the first community coffee shop that was an alternative to the old coffee gathering places of the past, set in a Victorian cafe. Catering to Riverside's eclectic Downtown community by providing a space for music, dance, local art and special events. Bands and Artists interested in playing or displaying their art, please call to make an appointment.

Every Wednesday in downtown Riverside at Back To The Grind, the premier coffee shop in town, the Riverside Open Mic Music Series takes place. Sign-up commences at 5:30 and spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The Open Mic event runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. This is an all-ages, music-only family-friendly event. Tonight, we have the pleasure of hosting LookingUp as our Spotlight guest, performing at 7:15.
