Take Your Son to Work Day! 👨‍🍳🦞

Today I had the privilege of bringing my son, Lil Jer, to work at Jerry & The Mermaid. From greeting guests and checking out the kitchen to learning what it takes to run a family restaurant, he got a firsthand look at the business that has been part of our family’s life for over three decades.

As a second-generation owner, moments like these mean a lot. My parents built this restaurant, and now the next generation gets to see the hard work, dedication, and hospitality that go into serving our community every day.

Whether he becomes a chef, a businessman, or chooses a completely different path, I hope today taught him the value of hard work, treating people well, and taking pride in what you do.

Who knows… maybe one day there will be a fourth Jerry running around here! ❤️
