A huge thank you to VPC Ensemble () and Blood Estate (.estate) for filling the space with their beautiful and immersive sounds and meditative rhythms.

We’re so thankful to our performers for sharing their creativity, vulnerability, and artistry with the DADA community. These moments of connection are what it’s all about. 🌀

Join us on Halloween from 5-9:30PM at Dada’s Halloween Family Dance Party for a frightfully fun evening of dancing, Myrtle Ave trick-or-treating, spooky storytelling in the backyard at 6 PM, and special kid-friendly Halloween treats!

Come dressed in your Halloween best and let’s dance, eat some treats, and celebrate together!

Explore the wonderful sound of JAZZ with us at Music Explorers, DADA’s weekly free live jazz music gathering for children of all ages, happening this Sunday and every Sunday!

This week features Nuci Nebieridze ( .nebieridze )
Nuci Nebieridze is a singer, composer, and producer from Georgia. With a background in jazz and a strong focus on vocal production, she creates original polyphonic music that bridges ancient traditions and contemporary sound. She has presented numerous projects in recent years throughout New York at venues such as Birdland Jazz Club, BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center, and more.

This week features bassist, Teresa Sanchez ()
Teresa Sanchez is a New York City–based bassist, educator, and arts administrator. An active member of the city's vibrant music community, she has performed across a wide range of jazz and contemporary settings while supporting the next generation of musicians through her work at the Queens College Aaron Copland School of Music, where she serves as Jazz Department Coordinator and teaches bass.

His recent work goes beyond jungle beats and live electronica. A political activist Marque has devoted his energy to the Musik for Masai water Justice Project dedicated to building wells for safe clean water in Tanzania.

Join us for a conversation on Musik to Masai, a set of live drum and bass and a very special jam session to follow!

DADA is a welcoming home for independent, avant-garde & experimental art, music, poetry, and everything in between. It continues to be one of the rare places where you can still experience something so authentically, unapologetically New York. Spaces like DADA are more than venues. They are necessary community resources.

As we celebrate 3 yrs of DADA bar in Ridgewood NYC we feel deeply proud and happy that we can play a part in keeping independent uncompromised art alive and thriving!

Ever grateful to Patrick Brennan, poet Bob Holman, Claire deBrunner, On Ka’a Davis, and Dafna Naphtali for an unforgettable night of experimentation, collaboration, and creative energy.
